Who knew that a midlife health CRISIS would become my CALLING.

I’ve always loved food.
(As you can see in my school photo...double chin at 10!)
As a child, food represented comfort, connection, and joy. I spent hours in the kitchen with my maternal Ukrainian grandmother.  Everything she made was traditional, heartfelt and made with so much care you could taste it in every bite. 

But just before high school, everything changed.
A serious health issue kept me in the hospital for over a month. When I returned to school (in a much thinner body), I noticed a shift. I was getting more attention.  That was the moment I stopped loving food.
And, in many ways, I stopped loving myself.

From a very young age, food  represented love, connection and joy.

Food Saved Me

Health is Wealth

I saw every -ologist, ran every test. And still the response was the same: “You’re fine. It’s just aging.” But it wasn’t fine. I wasn’t fine.
That was my breaking point. But also my turning point.
I read everything I could on hormones, inflammation, autoimmune, detoxification. I traveled to California for healing retreats. And most importantly, I went back to school and became certified as an Integrative Nutritionist.  With a university background in science, I understood physiology, but it was studying nutrition that connected the dots. I learned how food (the right food) is medicine.







Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how the right food can heal and how the wrong foods can harm, inflame, deplete, and disrupt everything from hormones to hair to emotional well-being. 
MY HEALTH CRISIS BECAME MY CALLING.
Now, through my private coaching and signature program, I help midlife women navigate hormonal shifts, burnout, hair loss, inflammation, and fatigue with a personalized, grounded strategy that helps them feel vibrant & confident again.
It's my mission, I call it the KS WELLTH METHOD:
Reaching your highest health potential while learning how to feel well in your body and soul. It's not about restrictive diets. It’s about nourishment, self-trust, and strategy.  Because when you finally understand what your body needs… that’s when the magic happens.



My journey has been messy, humbling, and at times terrifying.  It taught me something I’ll never forget:
You can have a hundred problems, until you lose your health...then you only have one.
Your health is your power. Your peace. Your legacy. And it’s never too late to reclaim it.
As my Aunt Alice always said: Your health is your wealth.  I couldn't agree more.
And midlife is your new beginning.

Not all food is created equal.

Suddenly, my hair was falling out by the handful.
I was exhausted, forgetting conversations, gasping for air during simple tasks.
My labs were again “normal.” My doctor’s advice? “Take your supplements. Get more rest. You’re 50 now..you should slow down.”
Slow down?
I run a home, a business, a life. That suggestion didn’t just miss the mark, it dismissed who I was entirely.
A month later, I was in the ER.
A week later, I was back again.
Multiple transfusions.  Still no answers.
I spent that Christmas curled on the couch, ashen and barely awake. My children watching, worried, wondering where their high-energy, do-it-all mom had gone.
